日本で暮らす外国人の子どもたちの人権は、国内の子どもと同列に考えても個人の尊厳が保障されないという実態がある。実際に無国籍の子どもを援助するボランティアの現場の声など、知られていない事実を報告。

2008年11月3日の神奈川新聞に国連大学で行われたフォーラム「無国籍から見た世界」の記事が掲載されました。

小笠原諸島でいまや伝説の人物となっているコペペじいさん。
彼は小笠原に住む欧米系島民のコミュニティで帰化した最初の人物だといわれています。
明治新政府は琉球処分に手を焼いていた中で、小笠原在住外国人に対する処遇にも悩んでいた様子。なぜ彼が帰化第１号になったかは，おいおい明らかにして参ります。
